Today on Mockingbird I read this repost of an article on Patheos where Tim Goeglien, who was the Deputy Director of the Office of Public Liaison under President Geroge W. Bush, details the very public sin that became the end of his career in the White House and his interaction with the Chief of Staff Josh Bolton, and even the President. It is a stunning reminder of the soberness with which we should address our personal and public sin, as well as our need for grace.
