In a world of confusion and misunderstanding, it’s nice to remember that I am not the ultimate authority on anything. I trust not in my own intuition, or desires, or feelings, or anything but Christ, His word, and His mercy and grace. I know what I know because he has given it to me to know, and I trust in Him that I will learn and grow at a suitable pace to keep up with what He has planned for me. There’s a lot of comfort in that. I just pray that I would be content in what He has provided and that I would live my life according to what He has taught me.
